Post this in Nextdoor and at least three people will talk seriously about “chemtrails”.
Or, maybe that’s just my neighborhood.
EDIT: So, I open Nextdoor and find this as the top post. Neighbor posted about “suspicious haze” and “chemtrails”, can’t make this shit up:

I think things like that are a prerequisite for Nextdoor
Nextdoor is quite often the trailerpark of social media. Anyone walking or driving through the neighborhood is suspicious. Every comment chain winds up with at least one “praise jesus” nut who spams flowers and cross emoji “art” in their reply. Any loud noise is gunfire, a bomb, terrorists, follwed by “praise trump”, “praise jesus” and racist comments.
Any comment is subject to random injection of misogyny, right wing politics, racism (direct or implied) conspiracies, and liberal bashing regardless of the subject.
The worst is that lately it keeps turning notifications back on. So I’ll go a year without hearing anything from Nextdoor, an account I haven’t logged-in to since before the pandemic, and then all of a sudden out of fucking nowhere I’m getting a dozen emails about gunshots and all this other stuff miles away on like the 3rd of July or December 30th… when it’s definitely not gunshots.
I considered calling them chemtrails in the title but decided the more neutral approach would probably work better
ngl, I came in here specifically to jokingly remark something along the lines of “So they’re doing geometric chemtrails now?”
I think it’s like in Tron where if the chemtrails touch, the aircraft blows up.
Those are clearly line segments, not planes. /bad geometry joke
You kidding me? This was an excellent joke for the context.
Must be using tris and not quads with that misaligned vertex.
ngon nightmare, I’m not cleaning that up
I’m not happy about this.

I played around with the live picture but when I rewinded too far the other line wouldn’t touch. Sorry mate, it’s real life… it’s rarely perfect
Heh no worries, I just needed something to humorously complain about, it’s my nature.
Username checks out.
Me and my kids play a game of trying to get as many planes in one picture as you can.
They have to be flying though. The kids didn’t accept my picture from the airport.
We also do the same thing with water towers. Because they normally aren’t close together.
Is this loss?
I love how perfectly mild this is.
Or maybe, the sky cracked?
Mildly satisfying
So the ArkNet is real.
Alex Jones warned us about these sky spiders.
OP is now the gay.
the friggin frogs
Mildly interesting? Oh boy, I should probably not post a photo of the sky here.
Bro, you’re gay now.
The sky is broken!!! Hurry! Hide!
