so unscrew it. why is this such a huge problem?
Because screwdrivers are regulated, screwdriver licenses are hard to obtain, and while most people can do the clockwise thing, counterclockwise is a skill that takes years to master.
valid
Because this is mildly infuriating not huge fucking problems?
I was just struck by ‘mounted a spice rack into the fucking studs’ like it’s been welded down. is that even mildly infuriating? pfft.
that’s an easy fix trust me I have so much mildly infuriating shit in my life
It’s load bearing
load bearing spices actually sounds like a pretty slick band name
What you don’t have a screwdriver?

Put it in the square hole

I loved this so much I went into your profile and upvoted some other comments.
I love you, let’s run away together.
Step 1: Re-hinge the fridge doors so they open the other way.
Step 2: Back the fridge into the corner first, then pivot to the right until seated.
You can tell by the cabinetry, they had a fridge in there already, possibly one taller than this.
This is clearly a load bearing spice rack.

Yes, it’s mainly ground spices.
This implies the existence of air, sea, wall and ceiling spices
At least you can unscrew it. My landlord put the pipe for the Lüftung where the fridge is supposed to go.
Oh no, not the Lüftung again!
Ventilation, in German
I had a feeling (after Luft) - it just looked funny.
Attack of the Luftung! More at 11
Just screw it.
Start with some wine, maybe a back rub. Get it all relaxed and then just slide into it
Just tilt the fridge backwards before moving it in.
Stove doesn’t have 1.5ft clearance on either side, not up to code
Can’t say I’ve ever seen a kitchen stove with 1.5ft of clearance in any home.

Have you tried some WD-40?
Tear down the house.
I’m proud of you for only being mildly infuriated. I would smash it with a fucking hammer.
Or you could unscrew the fucking thing and move it somewhere else, but I’ll let you sort that out with your anger management therapist.
If moving a spice rack is infuriating to OP I can’t imagine how cushy their day-to-day life is
Having a shitty day-to-day life tends to make minor inconveniences extra infuriating, and vice versa.
I think OP knows they can unscrew it.
That’s probably why it’s only ‘mildly’ infuriating.
The endless stream of repeated “unscrew it” comments is also mildly infuriating.
You mean mildly hilarious
I dunno, it’s kinda weird that they mention it’s “into the studs” as if it makes it a load-bearing spice rack. Just a weirdly irrelevant thing to say, makes me suspicious that OP thinks anything screwed into studs has to stay there forever or the house falls down.
I imagined it was because they wanted to use the fridge as a battering ram to knock it out of the wall or simply rip it down with their bare hands but alas the studs won out.
This post is mildly infuriating. Unscrewing it is not even an “easy fix” it’s just plain and simple what you do.
Indeed. Everyone loves a pedant.
Unscrew it. Throw it away. Keep your spices away from light and air.
But it’s in the studs /s
