US wants to make Europe into the same dystopia as US. Shortsighted winning for the few, drugs and gambling to control/numb the masses. Fact.
TBH EU isn’t resisting as it should.
Edit: at -> as
The EU has so many languages to say “Fuck off America, eat shit and die.” Any one will do.
I’d go with German as I’m sure it be a very long single word
The Germans (and the French) will probably leave EU in the next 10 years, though.
Doubt. Both economies benefit greatly from membership.
Yeah, why would they leave?
AfD and RN disagree and they are winning according to the last polls.
Russian backed traitors who are willing to hurt their home countries for their own personal benefits. Cunts the lot of them.
Weidel is more on the US side which together with their program means that they will quit the EU to start a slim EU that is just a common market. The US influence will remain.
You wish.
France and Germany have taken a long hard look at Brexit and said “nope!”.
LoL
Why do you assume I want that?
Looking at the polls, it seems they haven’t learned anything from the mistakes of the UK (or even of the US, Hungary, Turkey, etc.). And toxic positivity won’t help in facing these movements.
Still, we should address any core issues that might put that “nope” into question.
US wants to make Europe into the same dystopia as US
Absolutely. What people don’t understand is that the US have short term economic goals but long-term political goals.
Shortsighted winning
That is only important for their managers who are essentially their employees.
But even businesses think long-term. Google has locked people deeply into their ad economy. Microsoft has given away Teams for free to now lock companies in.
As long as Europe doesn’t find a way to balance the USA with China we are going to do what the US want.
Dear Americans: Your country is a shithole, stop trying to export it.
As an EU resident I say push all the way back. Who gives a shit about the tariffs, we’ve got plenty of other options. They need the EU more than we need the US.
It’s also better to decouple as much as possible before their trillions invested into AI go poof, I don’t want a repeat of 2008.
But what if they don’t buy our cars any more!!!
At this point i think less than 10% of US population is responsible for more than half consumer spending and that divide is getting larger every day so there nobody left over there to buy those silly, you need a subscription for basic features and here’s a stupid spiderman commercial on your dashboard anyway. If they want anybody, in either content, to buy their vehicles, start letting people own what they purchase, and stop turning them endless subscription burdens.
Push back…I’d suffer but I’d gladly endure it just to have the collection of vases in Brussels calmly state to the USofA a rotund “Go away.”
The EU should take China as an example. Push back hard against the bully and they will back down.
