    The Germans (and the French) will probably leave EU in the next 10 years, though.

            True, but unfortunately they’re popular enough to do real damage in the near future. Especially RN because the French system gives too much power to the president. The Germans have a bit more time to still change their minds, hopefully.

          Weidel is more on the US side which together with their program means that they will quit the EU to start a slim EU that is just a common market. The US influence will remain.

        Why do you assume I want that?

        Looking at the polls, it seems they haven’t learned anything from the mistakes of the UK (or even of the US, Hungary, Turkey, etc.). And toxic positivity won’t help in facing these movements.
