Thanks for the recommendations! The silica is a little out of my budget but definitely more affordable than installing solar for your house.

That heating idea sounds cool, but I can’t DIY something like that anytime soon. Also sounds high maintenance and risky. Where I’m at most energy consumption goes towards cooling instead of heating. Any cooling tips?

This would hopefully be a compliment to something that addresses the root of the problem more like mandatory parenting and child psychology classes, for everybody.

Also, I think you would get more benefit from these types of behavior training classes if they were more general empathy classes. Not just how to treat women. How to treat children, for example. How to treat homeless people. How to treat other men.

This would probably create something like Pickup Artists.

crime rates going down doesn’t mean it’s not still happening way more than it should. not sure where you live, but i’m in a big city and you definitely shouldn’t walk around thinking everything is peachy all the time.

you can be vigilant with your own safety without being pro-police. the reality is that some criminals in the streets have a common uniform that non-criminals commonly wear.

if i’m walking behind a woman by herself on an empty street, i’m gonna cross the street because i understand that they’re concerned for their safety, and i know women appreciate that.

since crime has dropped, should women not be concerned for their safety? are they being manipulated by sexist media and driven into a panic if they are?
