I just recently started using a solar charger to charge a 10k mah battery pack that I use to charge my phone every night. One device “off the grid.”
Short of installing solar on my home I’d really love to be able to charge a large battery that would output 120V so I could use household appliances “off the grid.”
Does anybody have some other energy hacks, or ways to reduce your energy consumption at home that’s not just “use less energy?”

You wouldn’t blow up your house, it’s not complicated, medieval Chinese did it, you can too, it would be expensive though. Unless you feel like digging 6 to 10 ft down into the Earth, which I have done and is not fun. However, if you can get explosives, that changes everything about getting down that far. You still need a tank, an old fuel oil tank might work even though.
Ah, expensive it not in my budget right now. Definitely interesting though!
Mine either brother, good luck.
