It’s insane. We have so much wealth in this country that there is no excuse for how bad our healthcare system is. Its atrocious and getting worse every day.

Life is suffering

Kind of Americana/nostalgia but The Andy Griffith Show really does this well. In fact, I feel like a lot of the older shows from the 60s did this.

Crack a book open. If you want to get real wild, take out a notebook and pen and write some stuff down!

I read the first trilogy of the Red Rising series by Pierce Brown recently and couldn’t put it down. I didn’t expect to like it that much but, that story really got me.

Yup, which is why I hate when engineers and the like yearn for a promotion. Like, stop. You’re good at what you do and you should be rewarded for that monetarily or with other benefits, but not with a promotion outside of your skill set.

In the tech world, I don’t think it’s weird that a team manager (not tech lead) would make less than their best performing employees but I’m not sure if it ever happens.

I actually think “CEO” is the job most compatible with being replaced by AI.
