    Generally, rich a-holes don’t like wind because it disturbes the view from their properties. Really selfish and dumb, of course.

      This, unfortunately, is not just a rich people thing. Normal people opposes wind mills all the time because of the view. Source: I’m from Denmark and many wind mill projects never startes because of this.

        Depends on your definition of rich, I suppose. Here in Sweden it’s mainly upper middle class conservative voters that whines about this.
