At least they finally said something. A few extra months of bug fixing and polish can’t hurt but they must also know how this looks. They made themselves into a joke already. I just hope it’s actually amazing when it finally comes out to make all the waiting and delays worth something.
Agree that a few more months won’t hurt. But if it’s just bug fixing and polish, you can mentioned an actual release date.
Just like Take Two did with GTA IV. And he’s not doing it.
Thing is, even if sq42 is the best game ever made, this community will still be disappointed.
It will be a good game but YouTube and reddit will melt with whiny content creators bc it’s not exactly what they personally expected/wanted.
Yeah, same with SC 1. Whatever they deliver, there’s no way it can live up to the hype among the interested ones. But then, I think the content critiquing the project is a big part of their advertisement strategy
