Don’t think the grey market sellers would be hurt, as they can choose to buy something as a gift.
It does hurt the wannabe content creators who buy ships to make videos about, to then “give them away” for engagement on their channel.

What is annoying is that a hotfix which was applied on thursday still had not rolled out to the majority of the server in the days after. While a newer fix was said to solve some inventory issues.
Almost feels like they need to do a maintenance to get all the servers to the right patch.
As the development of Star Citizen goes on I fear this might not happen anymore.
Closest they’ll probably go is a limited sandbox.
They knew in november 2025 and in June 2026 it got confirmed again.
I don’t want to come over as negative but CR should handle this better, especially if you can take lessons from T2 and past experiences.
