So… Not made in the USA. US flag only has 11 bars rather than 13. And it’s HTC, which is Taiwanese (or Chinese if you want to be pedantic to China; the territory is disputed).
So strange, because a lot of — I’m sure most — American/American flag products made in China (or Taiwan) have the correct number of bars on the flag. I’m sure someone tried to correct them and was just told to print the flag (incorrectly) as ordered.
I figured that, but you can’t replace part of a flag with text, it’s not the flag. Though I suppose if it had the extra bar, I could say the flag is red, white, and blue, not gold. In any case, the flag is wrong and ultranationalists should have done better. They should have demanded exacting standards. I get that it’s a grift, but that’s the part they were supposed to get right.
