And the wording was clearly about the anti-AI mob as opposed to people who understand the dangers and benefits of AI. It’s similar to the difference between a Gamer™ and a gamer.

But they didn’t say anything pro-AI. At most they were anti-anti-AI mob, which is just reasonable, as is with any “mob”. And I read mob here as mindless parrots that keep repeating talking points and hating for the sake of conformity.

But Switch exclusives are amazing anyway. 1st party Nintendo games are almost always good. And ever since Switch 1, pretty much all of the indie games are available on the platform. And since indie games don’t really need powerful hardware, it’s a great experience.

Maybe it was a packaged deal. And you only get 1 mother in law for 4 wives!

What a weird argument. People preserve all the digital games on consoles, too. The only somewhat fair argument would be that it’s slightly easier to preserve games on PC, but really both have their own challenges. On PC you’re fighting DRM, on consoles you’re fighting the OS security to break in.

The only real excuse for digital only is DRM free, where you can backup your installers.

Did you mean to reply to another comment? It’s like, completely unrelated to what I said, I was praising a game, not bitching. Nor did I say anything to indicate that I’m terminally online or a gamer.

No, I don’t think I do. The goal of their message is to point out that the modern AAA game industry makes similar, boring and repetitive games. RDR2 isn’t that, it’s a genuine piece of art. Why pick the one good apple from a pile of bad apples, when complaining about the aforementioned pile of mostly bad apples.

I love FTL, but weird choice for an unfun AAA game, as RDR2 is actually one of the best AAA games in “recent” history.
