Hello everyone,
I decided to create an account here with the idea of creating a community around “perv talk”; a community similar to c/confessions but focused on solely on perverted thoughts and discussions around it.
Text posts only, no erotic fanfic-type of posts but more generally the kind of dirty thoughts people have throughout the day and things they find themselves attracted to but don’t have a place to post these thoughts.
Hope you like the idea of creating c/PervTalk and might support me in this endeavor!
Back on Reddit we had AskRedditAfterDark. I’m not sure if such a thing exists on Lemmy.
Personally I think DeviantDiscussions might be a better name, since deviant is less pejorative than perv.
Interesting how you specify “no erotic fancifc-type posts,” because we saw a lot of that on ARAD, and you click their profile, sure enough they’re selling something (e.g. OF).
there used to be asklemmyNSFW but idk if its been migrated yet. The death of lemmyNSFW really set back the progress we’d made getting adult content on lemmy, unfortunately, and pretty much all the scant communites we had have died out.
I just realised we were in “Ask FediNSFW” on “fedinsfw.app”. I browse /all, so sometimes I miss nuances like this. I don’t sub to any NSFW comms; however, I block the ones that don’t interest me (stuff I do not want to see; nothing against the people who read/post to them).
In any case, I still think you’re on the right track. An “Ask” comm such as this (or ARAD) focuses on asking questions which are answered by commenters. You are talking about creating a more open lounge that is not formulated around asking specifically.
That’s exactly what I was thinking!
