Outertune, Harmony, etc. kept dying on me too, so I pulled the nuclear option and set up a Jellyfin server for my music. yt-dlp can download whole playlists, so I had it pull the 250-ish songs I regularly listen to from youtube. I use FinAmp as the music app on my phone now, it’s set to automatically download the songs I add to my Jellyfin.
Only thing I haven’t figured out yet is how to find out about new music, but at least I’m now always guaranteed to have something that works.
I mean, getting verified as a developer is a similar pain in the ass in other ecosystems. I recently got an LG smart TV and the developer mode there automatically runs out and deletes all unofficial apps after 9999h if you don’t manually go into the developer app and extend the time.
My hot take is that you shouldn’t have to claim that you’re a developer to sideload content. It should be allowed for normal users 🤷

Nope, hard pass. Never been into the social field myself, because it’s full of bullshit jobs. What would make this one any different than any of those “Life coach” jobs that promise to teach you all the secrets that will instantly fix you, as long as you have the money to keep paying for that “wisdom”?
Reality is, there is no single proven way to treat women. And if anyone claims that there is and they know it, it’s a scam.
It’s oddly specific, but vegpool.de has a weekly newsletter that lists all the vegan foods on sale in german supermarkets for the week. It’s usually only a few interesting items per store, so getting it compiled like that is super handy
I think Valve is one of the only companies I don’t actively hate. Steam is a pretty solid platform that hasn’t been too enshittified over the years, even though the gambling on there is kinda concerning.
The advances in Proton are usually attributed to them. And I like how permissive the family sharing on there is (I personally only own like 2 games and just leech the rest from my husband).
But of course, they might just have a good PR team and be secretly shitty. I’m always down to just hop back to pirating games.

New microwaves fucking suck. I recently moved and bought a new one and this thing insists on beeping every time it does anything. Every button press, when turning on, when opening the door, closing the door… even 10mins after closing the door because that is when the display turns off. And it takes like 30 button presses and three menus to do something like adjust the wattage. AND you can’t turn down the volume on any of the beeps. It’s driving me absolutely crazy. My husband promised to open it up and solder out the beeping part, but he’s got a busy schedule so idk when he’ll get to it 🥲
