Still going. Now I’m intrigued.

I wonder how long this will go on.
How do you feel about echo chambers and just talking to people who already agree with you on everything?
No (◠‿◕), let’s learn to embrace our differences and love one another. No need for Lemmy to be just another echo chamber on the web. There’s already enough of those.
That’s good and all unless you’re talking about cancer, you see context is everything.

anyone who doesn’t immediately agree is scary. I get it.

Fuck Cars@lemmy.world•But how will people know what size the pp is?English
1·2 天前Not the same crash test raring, but yes vehicles have gotten ridiculously large, particularly trucks and SUVs
And we’ve all seen what happened to Ukraine when they gave up their nukes and their neighbor super pinky promised to never invade.
It becomes a new issue. It doesn’t take much if you live in two different countries and one is much cheaper than the other. For instance five years of work in one country can afford someone ten to fifteen years or twenty years of vacation somewhere else. So instead of retiring at 65 you could retire at 35. It also depends on lifestyle and if you have family and friends in both locations.
I’ll give a small example. A shit one bedroom in the expensive country I work in will be 1600€ per month and an alright one bedroom just out of the city and near the beach here is about 70€ per month. So on one month of rent there I could afford nearly two years of rent here. So instead of waiting until I am old to relax I do whatever I want now.
Unfortunately things like electronics and cars are the same price, typically more expensive due to the import tax
I’ve been living outside the week system for too long. Everyday is Sunday now.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•I'm gonna ask the simplest complex question ever. What is happiness, to you?
4·4 天前u/over_clox@lemmy.world asking dumb smart questions.
Even the person who linked it is aware of the biased nature of their link. They said so themselves.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Is this something I should escalate at my workplace?
41·4 天前Two things. Number one, get a different job. Also many job requirements include things not specified. For instance cleaning my workspace isn’t specified in my job description but I’m pretty sure it would be bad manners if I just didn’t and one of my workmates got stuck cleaning my workspace.
Secondly as others have pointed out, it may not be what you’re saying but how you’re saying it. Human psychology plays a huge role in everyday life. Same as the brakes in-between patients situation. Personally I would go to the stairwell or bathroom or something. Out of sight, out of mind. Sitting around in eyeshot of people who are on their feet too much will naturally foster resentment even if it’s legitimate.
Final thing, just out of curiosity who’s job is it? Because it sounds like you and them need a better working relationship and communication with one another to avoid these scenarios all together.
Refuse to read? Do you have cameras in my house? Also did you read it? Just the diction alone is atrociously suffused with a particular intention. I think you would notice how it reads if it was on another topic, I get the sensation you’re not unbiased towards the content.
No person or country needs to do anything. I wasn’t really debating that point, but you’re free to start tangential discussions if you like. Now what people and countries do is the best representation of them. Anyone can talk, actions are what speak.
Ideally information by a source who gains nothing from the numbers being good or bad. It doesn’t take a genius to tell the difference between what would be on some sensationalized state owned news channel vs what is published as an academic paper for the global community.
Lol not unbiased is putting it very lightly. Compare this to how information is displayed on any reputable sources or in studies. This mostly reads like hardcore propaganda. Just compare it to propaganda from any country at any time period vs legitimate research.

I’ve done industrial networking protocols but never Bluetooth. I’m guessing some equipment didn’t implement the standard correctly or fully. Typically there’s someone you gotta pay like $10k+ to verify your equipment meets the standard so you can put the logo on the box but I’m sure the headphone or whatever device has pawned that responsibility off to whoever they bought their Bluetooth chip from.
