Chinese death sentences are usually imprisonment unless a new crime is commited, and generally reserved for corruption & other crimes where people nuke trust in public institutions for personal gain
Holy, and I thought “Vöedtæmhtëhactått” was bad

Could they not “just” use FPV drones with nades to take those flimsy radars out anyway? Instead of expensive ammunition. If it’s possible then it slashes down the price to take out these radars to a few thousands at most
I don’t know, I think it’s good to somewhat push people to confront their contradictions, and they won’t if they think the claim cannot be trusted. If the claim is made by some lib source they trust though? At least they would have to confront the facts and couldn’t dismiss them outright.
That is if they’re discussing (or just reading) in good faith
I think it’s important in public spaces especially, where the person you’re discussing with is not the only one reading the messages & people of varying political stances are around. In that context, a NYT article that is pro-china (could happen in some instances I’m sure, lol) will be far more impactful than an official statement from the PRC
I’m not sure people who want to shit on China will trust a gov.cn website, regardless of the content

These kinds of situations are inevitable in capitalism
I disagree, yellow paint is pure laziness. Games can still rely on lighting and other environmental guidance, but they just chuck paint everywhere instead of thinking their level design & environments correctly.
Elden ring is a great example of that, constantly placing environmental clues everywhere to attract your eye without needing any objective markers or other cheap tricks

Why is nobody thinking about the poor lil wannabe-brown-people-killer 😭
Look, I get that, nobody wants bloodshed for bloodshed’s sake. But this is war, they are being attacked, there are troops massing near them while they’re getting bombed. Either they get brutally murdered, or they defend themselves. That or the US retreats; I think we both know that’s not happening.
The conclusion seems fairly simple to me.
And tbf I’m not particularly giving much worth to those who follow orders on the US & israeli side. They made their bed, they lie in it. You can’t expect to go and kill brown people for decades, sign up to be the next generation of that machine, and come out unscathed.

You really ought to rethink your angle. Beyond “whataboutism” which is a useful tool to avoid any self reflection, do you really think we should first pay attention to protests, while Iran is getting bombed, i.e. every Iranian, including protesters, is in grave danger of death?
You’re telling us we should disregard deadly danger to all Iranians and instead pay attention to some danger to some Iranians?
To wrap this up, YOU are asking “what about the protests”; nothing in this post is about the protests. YOU are guilty of that nonsensical “whataboutism” pseudo-fallacy.
Edit: Less personal attacks (sorry)
Tell me please, how do you stop an enemy army from killing your people & destroying your infrastructure? Do you think the US will go back if asked politely? Be serious

I don’t see how not, but I’m not a lawyer. From my perspective only Waterfox’s edits would actually be GPL anyway, since they don’t own copyright to Mozilla. If they wanted to integrate their work upstream that would be an issue
That would definitely not be “more atrocities”, that would simply be self defense, in the most righteous way.
Extreme? They’re getting bombed, their public infrastructure is getting targeted, schoolchildren are dying, but killing US soldiers is a step too far???
If the US doesn’t want thousands of deaths on their end, maybe they should have considered not attacking Iran.

Your weak ass defense of the US would be ridiculous if Iraq didn’t happen; the fact that you’re unable to learn from it is sobering. Iraqis being freed was one of the reasons given back then; as a reminder more than a million Iraqis died to it.
Do you think Iraqi protesters were spared?

Nooo you gotta debate them in the marketplace of ideas /s

Because the dollar being the reserve currency is a direct result of the US being the world hegemon. As the US is falling, and China is expanding trade but not asserting itself as the hegemon, the world is becoming multipolar.
The EU’s economic situation doesn’t allow it to become the new hegemon either, and their political fragmentation makes them unreliable anyway.
The concept of a reserve currency might be outdated because of that multipolar world. And if not, the EU is in no position to impose the euro, as China is way more stable and has much better economic relations with everyone, including both US economic allies and enemies.
There would be no contest if China tried to assert the RMB as a world reserve currency, but AFAIK they’re not interested in doing that.
It wasn’t really Singapore-based; the Chinese company relocated to Singapore to circumvent the Chinese regulations on sales to the US, that’s why they put a stop to it
