No one deserves that much money and I’m not arguing in favor of what they did. I’m just pointing out that getting rid of that many people is way, way, more than $30,000,000 on a payroll.

I assume most of the layoffs were in support roles and not the main coders or hardware engineers. I assume it was a lot of secretaries and intern level stuff and phone rep and sales people supplemented by commissions and cleaning crew and maintenance jobs. Probably shut down some service offices too.
Enough for 400 employees.
Lol. Oddly enough, I’m totally that guy. Also, the sauce I usually keep around is what most would say is way, way, too hot.
Yeah, but what you supposed to do if you’re visiting England?

11·3 days agoYou’re making a metric fuck ton of invisible leaps based on information this person never provided here. Lol. You don’t have to be a doctor to figure this out, but you probably need at least the reading comprehension level of a ten year old.

12·4 days agoI think you might be the idiot, yourself. Go re+read faythofdragons post a couple of times and then try to explain where you got the idea that they had any sort of gastro disease or stomach ulcers before they started taking ibuprofen.
Since they literally and specifically say in it that their ulcers (according to the specialist) were caused from the ibuprofen they were taking.

Also, you can hop right on the mayo clinics website and look up eds. Go to treatments and look right there. IBUPROFEN. Not everything is rocket science. You just can’t be too stupid. It’s also blasted all over the rest of the internet, but the mayo clinic is one of the most trusted sources around.

13·4 days agoNeither of them was wrong, really. The best option was ibuprofen, since it’s pain relief and anti-inflammatory. But because you developed ulcers that ibuprofen can irritate, the best option is just pain management with something like Tylenol.

Except sometimes I know for certain the “wrong password” it wants me to change is the currently used one.
God’s, I’d hate to deal with losing my phone number. I have most everything crosslinked where my number isn’t the only option, but some I’m sure would still give me a big fat FU to deal with. I have all my passwords to everything correctly saved in my PW manager, at least
Bullshit IT trick. If they suspect a possible security compromise they’ll force this out to everyone. It gets you to change your password without them revealing that they may have been compromised and had data stolen.
RDR2 would piss me off to no end when trying to find a place to camp.
You’re a bit of a dumb one, eh?

1·15 days agoBoil spaghetti. Add red sauce. Bunch of chez. Make cheesy garlic bread. Throw out spaghetti and just enjoy the cheesy garlic bread.

You don’t know what jobs they cut. It was likely service offices and phone help and secretaries and maintenance people and commissioned sales people and such. They couldn’t have cut 30,000 programmers and hardware engineers.
