The Ellisons don’t care, they’re in the media business now. They now control a sizeable portion of the news media, and as well as entertainment. It will bring in even more money, and also make them among the most influential people on the planet.

They should, although it’s a bit late. Should have done it long before everyone got fired.

You understand that this is social media, right? It’s not a junior midterm paper.
You got a bunch of questions? It would have been faster to type them into Google than it took to berate and lecture the person who bothered to answer your stupid question.

Meet the new boss Same as the old Boss

If they pay tuition, do the bare minimum to get the bare minimum grades, they’ll graduate with a degree, and you’ll never know where they fell on the scale. Having a degree has nothing to do with how smart they are. I have met plenty of dumb people with degrees, and plenty of seriously intelligent people without one.
You know what they call the guy who graduated last in medical school? Doctor.

They’re going to try, but the difference this time as that we know they are trying, and we’re pushing back hard.
During the Biden and Obama administrations, MAGA was trying all sorts of election manipulation and fraud, and neither Biden, Obama, nor the MAGA comedy act of Schmuck & Jeffries, did a single thing about it. They wouldn’t even admit it was going on, and still haven’t. Weak-ass punk LOSERS, they make me sick. . At least today we aren’t paying attention to the Democratic excuses for their disgusting Democratic collaboration with MAGA traitors and pedophiles. We KNOW they are trying to cheat, and we are screaming at Dem leadership to hold the line, and they finally are.
The moment that last Fall’s shutdown hit the airports, the Dems folded. They didn’t care when people were going hungry, but as soon as their campaign donors operatives had a little trouble in the airports, they literally surrendered, and Democratic Voters lost their minds.
Not this time. They realized how angry Dems were at squandering that advantage, and that if they surrendered again, they would be in as much danger in the Midterms as MAGA is. So when this current shutdown sent the airports into chaos, the Dems held strong.
It’s much, much tougher to cheat in a Midterm, when you have over 400 district elections, as well as Senators, Governors, and others. They are going to have to rely on less reliable manipulation instead of outright fraud.
That means hacking voter machines won’t work, so they have to deal with pre-, during, and post- election strategies to try to manipulate the numbers.
Pre-election manipulation includes things like purging the voter roles, hoping voters won’t know, and show up on election day without being registered. They will try to intimidate people from voting by telling them ICE will be there to arrest them, etc. Also limiting the number of polling places, making people wait for hours, while also passing laws that it is illegal to provide them food or water while they wait. Messing with ID laws, mail-ins ballots, etc., are also Pre-election strategies to suppress the vote.
During Elections, they do things like have ICE guarding the polls, enforce water/food laws, make sure the line stands in the Sun, have some ICE confrontations early in the day, so they can run on TV all day and scare people away, refuse to let people vote, give them false information on provisional votes, and their rights, etc.
Post-election is going to be dangerous, because there is every indication that they will use phony allegations of election fraud to rationalize raids on the State Election HQs of certain targeted states, where they will confiscate all the ballots, and do their own vote count under high security (i.e. in secret). They do not have that right, and the states need to be prepared to block the FBI, or whoever tries to steal the votes, warrant or not, even if there is violence.
These votes belong to the states, by Constitutional mandate, and the Feds have absolutely no authority to take them, and the States cannot allow it to happen under any circumstances. We can’t adopt the weak position of surrendering the votes, and then fighting in court. We have to keep our votes, and make THEM fight for them in court.
So the Midterm won’t be as easy as only changing the vote in one race in seven swing states, like they did in 2024. MAGA knows the Midterms are always a problem for them. Remember the Midterm when Trump was screaming about “The Caravan” of migrants who were coming to America? Trump and MAGA were screaming about it, and the rest of us were saying Yeah, there’s a large group coming, but we know they’re coming, and we’re totally prepared to meet them at the border and process them like we always do.
Then MAGA got shellacked in the Midterms, and we never hear a word about the Caravan again. They know the Midterms are hard to cheat, so they have to do it mostly with really loud, really ridiculous propaganda. The best strategies to beat that is to either ignore it, or laugh at it. The worst thing you can do is believe MAGA lies.
They don’t have some narcissistic leader who insists on putting his dumb mug on the money?

“Looks like RAM is back on the menu, boys!”

“Just Say No” would work if the Liberals would just stop saying Yes.

Most days I eat a sandwich for lunch. About once a week, I’ll have soup. Occasionally, I’ll have both, but it’s very rare. Other than the classic grilled cheese with tomato soup, I don’t tend to want both. I like soup, or a sandwich. Both is too much food. Even when I have only a sandwich, it’s almost only a half.
There was a time when I would have gulped them both down, but I was also 350 pounds, too. Now I’ve dropped 100, with maybe 50 more to go, and I’ve totally changed the way I eat. Instead of seeing a hearty lunch of both, I immediately think of which thing can go in the fridge for tomorrow’s lunch.

I’ll go for ribeye first, but I prefer a porterhouse. An old employer used to take visiting VIPs to a nearby restaurant that had a veal porterhouse that was the best steak I’ve ever eaten. It was big and the most expensive thing on the menu, and I’d feel guilty ordering it on my own, but my boss would MAKE me order it, just to show the visitor how beautiful it was, so I was forced to take that bullet every time. That was a great job.
Somehow, somewhere along the line, someone got their wires crossed, and the lesson they took from the Holocaust was to Pay It Forward.

So fucking what?

Monster.

Oh, yeah, totally true. Republicans are emotionally and maturely stunted humans, and are often mistaken for children.

Years ago, I took a nearly identical package to a lawyer, who asked if they had been a bad employer, anything actionable, but they’d been great, I was going to miss it badly.
He said it was a pretty standard agreement, better than most get, so if there wasn’t a chance that I would want to sue in the future, it was best to just accept it, and move on.
A couple of days before, they were crowing about having total air superiority, that allows them to fly deep into Iranian territory to find targets. A day or two later, the Iranians shot down this plane, and then one of the rescue planes as well.
The Iranians obviously sandbagged them, and waited until they showed up to cause trouble. Oldest trick in the book, and Hegseth fell for it like a fucking Cub Scout.
