I need to add to this that blocking is not the answer. Actively down vote if your instance allows. The practices discussed here passively harm artists.

    Blocking them isn’t enough, because the harm they do with the plagiarism goes beyond stinking up your personal feed. This kind of stuff proliferates. People save the image to post somewhere else, and so on. Annoyingly, plagiarism doesn’t seem to be against the rules in this comminity, but I really think it should be.

        The moderator has been inactive for months. That’s why beep is getting away with all their rule breaking.

        The admins are actively looking for mods.

            On the lemmy.world support community yes. No fresh news yet, some gave applied to moderate last week but admin still trying to contact lawrence first.

            beep also has a lemmy.world account and a fedinsfw.app account. I can’t think of anything lower than trolling porn communities but he finds a way.
