It’s only a fictional convention, like waking up and only being cute and lazy in bed. There’s wild hairs everywhere, morning breath, eye boogies, gotta pee maybe shit.
There is the, “oops sorry” part where you apologize for being in their way but they dont mind it (good relationship goals)
Also hands touching is big, even if by accident.
I think the takeaway is that in the right situation this is cute and fun.
Also the thought that they are in the way of the snacks is also a side of this: you aren’t compatible enough to share snacks with. (If your s/o is gatekeeping snacks is your turn to buy better snacks (or leave xD))
It’s romantic because you must really love the person if it did not end in bloodshed.
