Maybe I should apply for a grant to help alleviate homelessness - mine. I’m not homeless, but a nice multi-million dollar infusion of cash would ensure that homelessness in my house would be eliminated forever. That’s a 100% MAGA win.

They smile and flatter, but aren’t necessarily friend. Simultaneously, that doesn’t mean they have nothing of value to offer. So in a way, human, G-d, and ha-Satan co-create each other, and that gave rise Hermes the trickster/messenger being not only Yehoshua ben Yosef being himself, and the compassionate thief and the mocking thief on either side, the deeper meaning being another, briefer story, for the meaning of "thief. If you’re curious, clever, and persistent in ponderance, you’ll probably get it, anyway.
But don’t kid yourself that a kinder, gentler fascist is any more your friend than a ravening beast who will rip you to shreds, once they see no more purpose in having you around. Because both overly flattering and overly snarling will both rob and devour us, if not checked.
