The lessons I learned is to have a separate inaccessible bank account, and to continue being employed.
Any other advice for doing this as safely as I can? Contracts don’t have any legal bearing, and I’m just trying to thing of all the things that can go wrong.
If you’re already willing to move states and be completely submissive to an unknown atranger, why not try getting a citizenship marriage somewhere(Canada is closest and most of your cultural and language background will transfer but whatever works for you). If the slavery is a deal breaker im sure that won’t be difficult to work into the conversation. Just something to think about.
