So this non-serving ass clown wants OTHER people to sign up for a draft to protect his “unparalleled freedoms and opportunities” while he sits back and enjoys them. Says our freedoms are the envy of the world. My brother, have you ever even left the country? Because nothing says “unparalleled freedom” like going bankrupt from a hospital visit, watching your kids do active shooter drills, and needing a draft to staff a military that already has the biggest budget on the planet. But sure, the whole world is just green with envy. Absolutely seething. They’re over there with their universal healthcare and paid parental leave just WISHING they could be us.

Oh I absolutely love this idea. Trump’s kids first.

But seriously, no better way to make Republicans feel the pain than to draft their kids. Liberals can, of course, claim something like being trans to get out without any shame. Pretty sure the trans community would be ok with it? Or not, but whatever, if you’re a trans person and you’re not ok with weaponizing your trans persecution to fuck with the MAGAts I think you’re lame.

OR…and hear me out…there might be a new draft rule: Instead of being immediately disqualified for military service, trans folx are first investigated.

Their teachers, friends, relatives and co-workers are interviewed. Their medical history is reviewed. They are required to complete an evaluation with an Army psychologist.

Anyone found to be “faking” is charged with draft evasion (which currently carries a maximum penalty of 5 years/$250,000).

Anyone NOT found to be faking, e.g. all the “real” trans women, are now in a database. When the next piece of anti-trans legislation hits, or the next data breach happens, they will be that much more vulnerable.

Sounds like a GREAT way to waste tons of government resources!

Seriously, do you know the wait-list for investigations the government actuallywants to do? It’s insane.

That’s the point. THAT IS THE ENTIRE POINT!

The more rules in place, the more leverage a government has on its citizens. And when that government can collect and store the data easily and cheaply, the information can easily be weaponized when needed.

In other words, it’s a way for the government to keep the population on edge. Worried about day-to-day survival instead of looking at the bigger issues, like blatant corruption and cronyism.
