Images of crowded beaches or people swimming in pools are known to make extreme weather seem less dangerous.
Stop asking selfish ppl to stop being selfish. Make them stop. Make them incapable of being selfish at all.
And who would be able to leverage such weight to make media stations conform?
The government, the police, the lawenforment arm, considering they are endangering the public, that Could totally stand in court.
You gonna tell them? Narc.
They won’t. They are owned by billionaires after all and those’d rather shield their buddies in the fossil fuel industries while the plebs dies.
Funny how everything is overly dramatized by the media except if the catastrophe benefits the filthy rich.
This unfortunately isn’t limited to private news companies, just saw yesterday a lovely beach photo together with the news about the heatwave in Swedish public service.
Start charging them with public endangerment (or whatever the actual charge is named) then
Media: “Quick put an egg on the asphalt, put a slice of pizza on the dashboard, find a frantic mother in the parking lot who locked her baby in the car! We love this summer hysteria!”
Last week was an absolute nightmare and this weekend will be apocalypse! 38+ till Monday! I honestly don’t know how anyone can deal with this without any kind of air conditioning.
Airflow is key, but yeah it’s hell in Grenoble
