As soon as you open a jar of pizza sauce it is bad (compared to home made, which is pretty simple to do).

  Making tomato sauce from scratch is a messy and time intensive endeavor.
  
  Source: my mom would always plant an unreasonable amount of tomato plants so we’d spend days just making sauce.
