The US being pro Armageddon is really such a strange thing to nearly everybody. Also the reason they support Zionism, as the Jews returning to the Holy Land is said to trigger the end of the world.

It’s very hard to understand even half of what American Evangelicals are babbling about without a long and comprehensive talk about the history of the various movements and beliefs.

The best way I could even get started was some long series of blog posts, long ago, written by a theologian, who did pretty good critical literary commentary on the Left Behind series of novels. Looked at the nonsensical stupidity on the pages and then explained why was it that way.
