I was visiting this well known website out of curiosity, and it won’t let access it unless I do a verification with email + face scanning. I didn’t do it, as I don’t feel ok sharing my face to access a website I barely know.

This is something that is going a lot lately, and I wanted to ask what do you think about age verifications on adult sites? I do understand that kids may access these kind of websites, but I do not believe this is the right way to verify.

    Photo verification is horrible. None of these sites have the resources to store that data safely (nobody does) and it’s another step toward strengthening state surveillance.

      I noticed that they have a habbit of having no security. They are like “Oh my, please don’t hack us wink wink”.

      They are probably paying people to hack them in secret.
