I love reading Marx’s Capital but it does drag a little in the latter half.
I really wish there is a way to study Marxism without even losing focus or getting bored.
During the more complex parts of Capital Vol 1, I sometimes read it out loud to help keep focus.
I actually just reread Vol 1 since there’s a new translation and felt some of the chapters in the back half could have been skipped.
Das Kapital (translated if you don’t know German).
Nothing will radicalize you more than understanding how the current system is set up to fail everyone but the richest assholes, and nobody seem to care.
I can only speak for myself but I found it hard to read while not giving much new ideas. Yes it describes the system at the time very well and you see the parallels to the system today but I wouldn’t recommend starting with it. I think just starting with the communist manifest is way better.
I really wish there is a way to study Marxism without even losing focus or getting bored.
