Lets just say that apparently there was a no touch rule for clients at a club I went to a few times, and also apparently that didn’t really matter in a private room, if you’re respectful.
Didn’t get all the way into what I’d call ‘sex’, but I totally do not doubt that it at least somewhat often does.
I can also tell you that at least some strippers are also ‘escorts’, though probably not exactly officially.
As an additional “not a stripper but…” perspective: a friend of mine started their journey into sex work as a stripper, then moved into escorting “after” that - there was definitely overlap.
They now work with ludicrously rich clients and own a house in their city and work far fewer hours than I do, so I can also say that the responsible ones who have marketed themselves to the right clientele male absolute bank.

Oh yeah.
There definitely are some actual, proper, professional escorts, who have just actually very succesful careers.
Takes a very uncommon combination of beauty, fitness, business savvy, social intelligence, and basically luck, to pull that off though.
