I’m torn on teenagers working. On one hand, Calvinist work ethic is actively producing billionaires and why do children need to start before they have to. On the other hand it gives them something to do that’s productive and provides a sense of accomplishment. I worked on a farm as a kid and many days dreaded it but my coworkers were awesome and overall it was better than my other options for spending the time. But if today’s alternative is an Amazon warehouse? I think not.
