Is this the remake or are you emulating the original? If it’s the latter your problem may be tied to FPS. Try capping it at 30 and see what happens.

Technology@lemmy.world•Age checks creep into Linux as systemd gets a DOB fieldEnglish
8212·2 days agoAn init system does not need to know my personal details; it’s for starting programs in a specific order just fuck off with this shit. You don’t even have to capitulate to this stuff and these freaks are out here doing it preemptively like they expect a fucking pat on the head for being first in line to dive tongue first on to that boot.

3·3 days agoWhat are you talking about? If you’re trying to build software that is useful to anyone but yourself complaints are incredibly useful. Do you think feedback forms that show up all over software are for sending nothing but compliments?

6·3 days agoA couch isn’t an ongoing project asking strangers for help and suggestions. If you don’t want people to complain about or contribute to your project, just don’t distribute it or it’s source. If you make your project public you don’t get to cry about how the public criticizes your stewardship of that project, regardless of how “free” it is.
Some of these people would not survive a smack.

Fuck Cars@lemmy.world•Most Americans would rather live in a big house in a car-based community than a small house in a walking-based community.English
5·4 days agoI think tying “big” to “car-based” and “small” to “walkable” is probably skewing the results a bit. I doubt most people would choose “small” regardless of what follows it.

World News@lemmy.ml•Lebanon: Missile lands next to presenter during live report
0·7 days agoThe missile didn’t just land there, Israel shot it at him. Stop using passive voice to describe Israeli war crimes.

Whatever the fuck it is it doesn’t need to know how old I am to do its job.
