Learning this from XKCD was worth it both because it’s an interesting concept and because it indirectly lead me to the Bobiverse.

“Smart” in this context wasn’t as much of a thing back then, but The Transporter had a similar option.

I prefer physical media, but I appreciate the utility of ereaders. I, too, would prefer buttons if I used an ereader with any frequency; I still lament the disappearance of them from my phone!
However, in case this is a problem you really need fixed: my wife is an avid ereader user. She didn’t like the page turning for many of the reasons you listed, so she bought a ring that has Bluetooth and a singular button. The ring connects to your reader, then when you press the button, simulates a click or screen tap. You get the page turning experience it sounds like you want and, after setup, the only thing you need to physically exert at all is your thumb.
edit: Fixed an embarrassing number of typos.

The stomping thing also happened in the first X-Men movie (and was done by Sabertooth there).
The regrowing from a single cell thing also happened from a Wolverine centric novel. I think it was called Weapon X.
I am very uncomfortable with and uncertain of most people, especially those who are new to me. Even if I like them, which I usually do.
A year and change ago, my wife made friends with a new family. They’ve become very close. I haven’t spent as much time with them as she has, but so far as I can tell they all seem pretty great.
One of the first times I encountered them other than by proxy, the mom and one of the kids came by and almost immediately settled down on one of our couches. My wife and kid spent a bit of time chatting with them, then wandered off. The mom maintained her position on the couch and I stayed in the room because I learned what few social graces I have from my mom, who never would have forgiven me for abandoning a guest. Though our guest was never rude to me, it became clear that she just wanted to idle and didn’t require engagement.
I’m genuinely glad she was comfortable here but it still seems odd to me to come to a friend’s house to be alone.
If my family has a coat of arms, no one ever told me.

So what engine do they use?
Just barely missed the king of time!

That’s why you don’t tackle Hobbes!

Suddenly Overgrowth doesn’t seem too ridiculous.

That show was really, really good … For a while. I was impressed by what they did with this guy.
Even when I was young I didn’t go to clubs. I’ve been to one club (where unexplained blood dripped on me and I didn’t even get cool music like in Blade) and, I think, two concerts.
Neither was superior to anything I could enjoy at home.

So, technically, no?

For several reasons, I wouldn’t know.

Waydot also does this (as well as other, related content).

I’m in north east US. I’m pretty certain both coyotes and foxes are around here. It seems likely that this was a fox, though. Thanks for the answer!
I didn’t have FSD, but this is pretty much what cruise control / lane assist did.
