Easily MAKE millions of dollars? You have chuds boycotting it because casting Idris Elba is woke, and the people who know Jared Leto is a creep boycotting it because casting Jared Leto. All this for a movie that is well outside the nostalgia window. I will be surprised if it breaks even.

That being said, this dude (and all the Marvel/DC/ANYTHING creators) needs to get his due for being a creator of a massive franchise. That or there needs to be enough of a social safety net so that people who aren’t filthy rich can have proper care at the end of their life.
