At least 72% still disagree with these assholes. If the center parties where less corrupt and incompetent, and mainstream media didn’t pile on by sensationalising, framing and dramatising everything in the worst possible way, it would probably be more.
I low-key hope they win one of the upcoming state elections, so people get a preview of how they are an alternative to nothing, with no plan on how to improve anything. If you give them an absolute majority, you don’t deserve any better to begin with

Dat is leuk

Unless you’re part of any minority, do anything that doesn’t require a lot of skill, or anything deemed important enough to put it above your health and sanity (tbf 2 and 3 also apply in the west)

RigI nean, yeah, the rest is Windows…

WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!

The comment is satire. You get reports about amazing batteries about every month, yet most pretty much all of them never went into production. It has been like that for years, since I was a teenager at the very least. And what has happened since then was pretty much refinements to Li-Ion and the commercialization LiFePO.

Less talking about miracle batteries, more making miracle batteries 😡
I feel like that somewhat changed over time. Today there seem to be more anime targeted at adults. Although there are probably a lot more in total, so maybe I’m just biased

Figures, why would you try to sell to gamers when you can make 10x the money and save on marketing with B2B

There is surprisingly much happening in the EU, because everyone is trading favours. You agree with this, we agree with that. Everyone knows that legislation would come to a complete halt otherwise, and all have something to gain from coming through and approving stuff, that’s why it mostly works out

There are two chambers that can veto. The parliament seats are weighted by population, so Germany has the most votes, while e.g. France and Spain also get many, but less than Germany. However, there are not countries, but parties voting there. You will rarely find German leftists agree with German right-wingers, but rather leftists from other countries.
In the council on the other hand, every member state has a single vote. Both chambers can veto legislation. That has come from the commisssion, which is kind of the EU government and can also block legislation. There are different kinds of majorities required for different kinds of stuff - everything from simple to unanimous. So depending on the vote, a single country could block it, although I don’t know if that is what happened here. Could be, I think foreign policy is one of the more touchy topics.

Sooo… They are giving them hardware for free, but both get to inflate their numbers? Yeah that sounds totally reasonable. Not bubble-y at all.
And it was so by a huge margin. It had features and customizability unmatched to this day afaik

Death to Israel
I feel like I should avoid you like the plague, or is this not a call for some counter-genocide?

I can say that it works fine for me, although I’m not up to speed regarding its security. I like that it explicitly tells me what kind of data is requested and by whom. The problem here is mainly low adoption. If they rolled the exact thing out EU wide, it would probably gain more traction. It’s a joke they have no official Linux support despite having an Android app tho

I really hope the manage to do this properly. I’m all for verification on the internet, but only if it is fast, secure and reasonably private. You can do it, but noboy has so far
I feel like I need a degree to fully appreciate this strip, but I also feel like you could interpret this in any direction. Like, does the doctor care more about the woman or less? Is the male patient more whiney or did the doc have more empathy with him? Getting more and stronger painkillers is not necessarily a good thing and I have no idea about any of the conditions and how painful they are
Oh, if you ask people about Israel, I think you will get the answer you expect. Support for Israel seems to be concentrated in political spheres, where I’d say it’s about 50:50. Most ordinary people don’t care about Israel per se, but they do care about war crimes by countries we call allies
I mean, there was this one time where Intel packaged an AMD GPU side by side with their CPU. I don’t think it is necessarily a bad thing to let your internal solutions compete with others’, as long as this doesn’t result in Intel canning Arc
