  • Your linked source only applies to civil matters (think lawsuits for a slip and fall). It even says:

Under Federal Rules of Civil Procedure Rule 37

That basically arises out of the Fifth Amendment, which reads:

No person shall . . . be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law

In the criminal conrext, the Fourth Amendment rules, which reads:

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

All that “probable cause”, “stop and frisk”, and “reasonable suspicion of wrongdoing” stuff arises from the “unreasonable searches and seizures” bit.

Okay, so the guy in the foreground has the mask (the thing that’s supposed to replace keyboards) and is using a mouse with his right hand. What’s that thing next to his right thumb? Is that a keyboard? It looks like a keyboard. Doesn’t it undermine the claim about replacing keyboards if the picture you use has the guy sitting with a keyboard?

  • I believe your representatives could do something if people started voting in their best interest.

Both parties are bought and paid for by the same plutocrats.

A basic social safety net in a first world country should be the standard

The United States is a third world shithole that mascarades as first world (see bribes as previously mentioned).

The general populous in the US is too conservative and resistant to change.

Mandami shows that to be untrue. The Epstein class has merely kept the political system from ensuring the wellbeing of the population (see bribes above).

Even if I had cancer and UHC denied to give me healthcare treatment killing the CEO wouldn’t immediately resolve my issues with denials.

Maybe. Maybe it’ll change the calculation to make it too expensive to deny people care/living wages (See Paper Mario).

The policies applied are horrible but that doesn’t justify murder.

Soap box (See, e.g., Colbert and the like)

Ballot box (watch the games that are already kicking off about this, especially with support from the bribes as previously mentioned)
