I didn’t even mention the Second World War, because the first would’ve been different enough to make it having happened in a familiar form into unlikely.

On the one hand… First World War would’ve ended very differently.
On the other… Maybe eugenics would already be discredited by the 20s with how it went in Dixie.


I find it sad that the fact that the protests of 89 were nation wide, and involved worker groups and farmers as well as students.
IIRC the last protest hold out was in South West China and wasn’t quashed until the 5th.
The Tiananmen group was forced out and gunned down on the roads off of the square in the 3rd-4th night.
