Maybe we need annual driving compentency tests for all people, this would incentivise better driving for all, maybe get more people off the road and improve our cities, and stop people who can’t see properly from driving. Maybe use some of the registration fees for cars for bus or shuttle services for the elderly to get around and do things.

You know I think it will be similar to how kids in the south for the last 100+ years have dealt with seeing their ancestors names on Confederate monuments and in school textbooks, it will slowly be massaged into being a “good thing actually” or “not that bad” and you will have those who will deny that Noem killed her dog in a gravel pit or something.
