The best part was the Elmo fan bois watching their investment go up in smoke because dickweed diluted their shares by almost a third during the lockup period. Honestly, even I thought that was a move that reeks of desperation.

Anyone who criticizes Israel for bombing school children is antisemitic.

This is a generational change and it’s not going back anytime soon. Israel is going to lose the money and will also be buying their weapons from someone else.

I don’t think congressional hearings are going to be good enough for that lot. Maybe an investigation while the execs are being held in GITMO.

Somewhat skeptical the criminal element is a big user of public transportation.

We also have to get involved. Our congressman, who takes hundreds of thousands from AIPAC and lives outside the area he represents, ran unopposed because I didn’t find out he didn’t have a challenger until it was too late to file. Local Dems should have been ready to pounce on him but nada. Had I been more involved, might have been able to primary him. At least make him go on the record about where he lives and the Israel money.

That was the one topic that always baked my noodle at DoE. In animal tests the low dose group consistently outlived the controls. I wanted to write papers on the topic but consistently got shot down. The upper tiers were worried about public perception of “radiation can be good” papers.

Or know that they already have harmed kids.

Then why does he send his kids to private college?

I’ve started the transition away from Google. Sucks because, sometimes, it was really convenient. But now, screw 'em.

Spent the last couple weeks moving my stuff off Chrome. Not convenient but well worth the effort. If you’re not on Chrome they’re doing us a favor. Sites will be less likely to target ad blockers if the majority of users don’t have them installed.

Soon, pension funds and 401(k)s are going to feature SpaceX stocks.
Not mine. I’m selling my NASDAQ index fund next week. Thankfully the S&P said no.

What is it with Republicans and kids?

This is just pathetic. Never mind, you know, governing.

Good grief. Everything but your social and mother’s maiden name. I wonder if other airlines are just as bad? Obviously big companies aren’t worried about data security.

Tennis has kind of a snotty reputation besides being slow and boring. Surprises me that it’s still fairly popular. Ended up in Palm Springs the night before a big tennis tournament and almost had to drive on to LA. Everything was booked. Pickleball is crowding tennis but not getting rid of it. Ironically, if I make it through the US Open Pickleball lottery, I would have to play Ivan Lendl…the tennis player.

Like Slate? I have high hopes for them but the price is already creeping toward $30K.

Which explains tech companies that make billions laying off people by the thousands with no consequences. Labor shortage. Riiiight.

Those data centers use more power than a medium size city and city scale amounts of water. No. Just no.
Yeah, we noticed.
