The only panel missing is the panel shortly after where the cat is screaming about being stuck
I enjoy my small shitbox (2007 KIA Rio5 hatchback) and wish I had a smaller shitbox to commute in
One of the biggest perks is the fact that my little shitbox is FIXABLE by sane people with standard tools! No special tools, parts are literally everywhere, and all the parts are DIRT CHEAP. The engine is in Hyundais and KIAs from 1989 to 2011. If it’s a 1.6L 4 cylinder made by those 2 companies it’s the same engine between ALL OF THEM.
EDIT: The biggest difference is the exhaust routing. The midpipe on the Hyundais is straight, the KIAs it’s got a bump.

Is your keyboard app secure (yes seriously)? Does you device store notification details? Can your notifications be viewed without unlocking the device?
Those are all little concerns that need to be considered.

41·13 days agoThe fires from EVs (ones that use lithium batteries that is) are incredibly hard to extinguish.
Sodium ion batteries don’t ignite which makes them even safer.

It’s like the commenter doesn’t realize there’s more electric cars than just Teslas.

5·13 days agoSo the article’s source has been updated. Tesla was number 1 in the last year’s report (2024’s numbers) but it’s number 3 now (2025’s numbers).
Source used by the article you shared
TLDR: It’s a close battle between BMW (44.9 per 1000), Ram (44.7 per 1000), and Telsa (42.8 per 1000)
EDIT: “That includes accidents, DUIs, speeding and citations” If you instead just isolate accident rates it’s slightly different: Ram (23.9 per 1000), Subaru (23.2), and Tesla (23.1).
I should clarify that I’m not a fan of Tesla AT ALL. I’d love to see Tesla fail (in particular Elon failing especially). There’s more electric car’s than just Tesla’s.
I think they’re trying to voice their support of the guy in this comic by stating that, “They’re just telling them what they’ve got to offer. that isn’t a problem”.
They’re a mod on a conservative community with a ton of alts on different instances each with significant numbers of entries in the modlogs, I’d say they can be ignored.

Technology@lemmy.world•Microsoft wants Edge to automatically open by default every time you turn on your Windows 11 PCEnglish
7·19 days agoI recommend installing Ventoy on a USB stick, then putting some ISOs on there of various distros to try. Like CachyOS, Bazzite, or perhaps Kubuntu.
You can boot into them straight from the Ventoy USB stick without having to format the USB between new tests.
And if you end up liking one over the others you can install straight from the stick.
You can do it, I believe in you random internet stranger!

16·24 days agoYouTube broke my RSS feed for YouTube subscriptions by breaking how embedded videos works.
Now when I try to click on videos in my RSS feed it just gets me “Error 153” every time.
It’s so frustrating!
I’m currently using Feedbro on Firefox (the add-on hasn’t been updated in 2 years) but if anyone has any recommendations that don’t get that error I’m all ears!

Not with the same camera (I don’t have a filter I can slap on the modded camera to go visible spectrum)
I took this one with my Lumix G9 (and missed focus a little (much like the full spectrum shot lol))
I took that one about a half hour before I did with the full spectrum camera because after getting home my boss gave me the day off. I did get some nice pictures with my G9 on that walk but I’m still sorting through the pictures.
