I didn’t say I disliked it! I’ve probably spent more time listening to theory videos about ASOIAF than I did listening to the books, I like proverbially dissecting the frog. So a D&D campaign with 5 minutes of OOC discussion for every 1-2 minutes of gameplay is just my speed.

Agreed, the only time in the past decade I’ve talked at length (more than 5 sec) to my apartment neighbors was when one of the moms got (understandably) very upset about catching a homeless guy jerking off in the apartment garage. Meanwhile in my tiny hometown you can’t go to the grocery store without people who knew your parents 20+ years ago trying to make conversation with you.

There’s a good chance his medical or vehicle insurance forced him to sue (or rather, allow them to sue on his behalf) if he wanted it to be covered. It sucks ass when it’s like, someone got hurt at their aunt’s house, or grandma hit the gas instead of the brake and rammed a relative’s car, because then you have to decide if you want your bills paid more than you want to not rock the boat with family.
