maybe, but it already has happened in america and the government lets you protest because they know they have control. they are happy to let you have the illusion of freedom because they know you’ve lost it via meta, google, twitter, apple and the media. unfortunately americans are completely boxed in by their techbros and the only way out is revolution using analog technology.
i think you might be assuming that the almost instant instantiation of media control in america is somehow similar to decades of chinese control. americans are still convincing themselves that ‘it wont happen here’ after it’s already happened.

Wouldnt it be interesting to see an asymmetrical war, with expensive american jets and carriers versus a drone response. It’d be like the Russian/Ukraine war, where drones held off then almost crippled an expensive legacy army with cheap drones.
Its almost a proxy war between China and america.
And yes I am no longer capitalising america because they no longer deserve international respect.
