I have no idea when those were popular. Plus, I don’t think I saw that many people wear them, based on the pics I saw. Though, considering the amount of skin tight clothing that women wear while working out it was probably just difficult for me to notice. I’m pretty oblivious when it comes to any type of fashion.

1·18 days agoThe meeting also drew detractors of James, with one person saying: “Their goal is not trying to get their own kids the books but trying to get it into our kids’ hands – and the things that they’re feeding in these books are just straight lies.”
Even if true, that’s not a reason to ban or restrict books. People lie in books all the time. And books don’t just appear in people’s hands. It’s one thing to be against it for required reading, but it’s completely different that you don’t even want to give people the option to read it. Also, don’t parents check out most books for young kids, or at least watch what they are reading? Why not, you know, parent?
I don’t think my memory goes that far back.

1·23 days agoWith ~65k agents that’s ~$15k per person. At 40 days without pay that works out to ~$140k per year per person. IDK enough to know if that’s reasonable. It’s plausible though. It’s not like it came out to $1m per person.
