A little maybe, but not much.
I’ve seen people say they left reddit to join Lemmy because of the toxic users. To each their own, but I personally think Lemmings aren’t much better. Some people over here can’t understand that sensitive questions can be asked without bad intent. People are way too defensive about their opinions.
It is disappointing, but it’s the better option.

Full agree. I would like some NSFL/more uncalm stuff, however… I love how much more organic and nicer everything is here, but the internet old-head in me would love come crunchier places as well.
The only other fediverse sites I’ve stumbled across have been a ZA WARUDO fediverse completely defederated from all of the instances here, and the subject matter on all of those sites is horrifying. Horrifying to ME, a person who’d love some NSFL/WPD-type subs here…
