    As a 1990s kid, I’m still stubbornly waiting for VR to be the big spinny thing you get into like Pierce Brosnan.

      I love to hate to love that film. The Stephen King short story it was based on was about a man who saw that his landscaper was working in league with a demon and ended up being hunted for his discovery. The movie was an absolute assault of mid-nineties cyber-slop. VR! SGI CG! Hollywood OS! Gyroscopes are cool! But, one of the characters did have a lawnmower. Fucking brilliant. Did you know that Stephen King sued the movie makers to keep his name off the project, twice, and won, also twice? Love it.
