No, but he was world famous for trying a thing, having it fail, and then abandoning that thing entirely instead of addressing the minor failure issue and trying the same thing again.

I probably had the wrong type and was probably wearing them wrong but I was getting married in an hour so I had to take the suspensers off and wear a belt.

They held my pants up too well, that was the problem. The suspensers were stretchy and no matter how I adjusted them it was still pulling up too much.
Have you tried … larger suspenders?
I have not. That was my only experience wearing suspenders and I was getting married an hour later so I didn’t have much time to get a bigger pair.
