I’ve had this camera for 6 7 years and a few months ago I realized I needed to clean the sensor. My focus had seemed to be off and a little blurry.

I finally ordered a sensor cleaning kit that came in this morning. It worked really well and the sensor looks brand new. The camera also seems to focus properly now.

      It’s not that scary. Camera sensors have a hard piece of glass in front of the actual sensor. The glass protects the sensor and also acts as an infrared filter.

      Yeah when I realized I needed to clean it, I had to watch some videos to learn how.

      I didnt want to make any mistakes. To be honest it was very simple, you only put enough pressure to slightly bend the stick and slowly move the cleaning end in one direction.
