I’ve had this camera for 6 7 years and a few months ago I realized I needed to clean the sensor. My focus had seemed to be off and a little blurry.

I finally ordered a sensor cleaning kit that came in this morning. It worked really well and the sensor looks brand new. The camera also seems to focus properly now.

    For “protection” (does it help, maybe?), the idea of aesthetics and for the fact that I always have little offcuts of leather laying around. It took about a minute to make.

    Thats pretty cool, I dont own any film cameras but mostly due to the cost of film and prints. I have seen some examples of people adding leather to older cameras. It always looks great.

      Gotcha! I have the same off cuts laying about in various pull ups and sundry hides. It’s an excellent idea for embellishment!

      The Minolta was my dad’s that he had bought when I was a kid and I found it when he was moving a couple of years ago. Like with the leatherwork, I’m moving back to the tactile experiences in life. My career has been in technology, but I’m finding I’m wanting to get back in touch with the analog.
