ROFL I got April Fool’s Day pranked…I literally forgot about what today is. I was going to write a screed of disgust against this video, but watched it and found it to be an initially convincing prank (techbros don’t have shame). The latter half made me feel relieved that it wasn’t an actual race to the bottom by Sony.
Wasn’t Microsoft literally working on this for the Xbox?

Naturally, Microslop was because they have ZERO restraint with LLM tools, it hasn’t actually been deployed as of yet on all of their consoles yet. I can image it will open up a scary attack surface on one’s console. As these tools aren’t known for their security and are vulnerable to easy to write malicious prompts.
