I think it’s probably right: from the other side. Shitty management are going to give the raises, promotions and benefits to those who are sucking at their teats of in-office work.
Same here. Full time WFH since St Patrick’s Day 2020. I’ve been to the office less than 10 times since. I’ve not worked a full day there once, if I do go, I travel on company time.
I used to drive 16,000 miles a year, now it’s more like 4,000.
Let others have the promotions. So long as I get to be 100% remote, who cares if you get some fancy title and a pittance for a raise. Not driving, not wearing suits, having my dog next to me all day, having my own bathroom, not buying lunch everyday, and especially not having to make forced smalltalk with people.
