I know that this will definitely be an unpopular opinion, but it’s mine, so deal with it. I will admit to the fact that I’m older and see things through a different lense. For what it’s worth, I am an American but more importantly I’m a male human on this rock we ALL call home. One other thing to get out of the way before I express my opinion. I myself believe that there are females and males only. You do you. I say this so everyone can be on the same page and maybe understand my thinking. Now that we got that all cleared up, on with the show. Ladies, I want to say first and foremost that you ALL are beautiful and precious, each in your own unique way. And there begins my(our) problems. You see ladies, you’ve been led to believe beauty comes from a bottle or a hanger. Beauty is bestowed upon you by your very own mother. Your beautiful mother gave you all your physical beauty it’s up to you to show your inner beauty. No amount of baubles, paint or graffiti is gonna make you beautiful much less pretty. Beauty, it’s said, comes from within, THAT is 100% correct. We don’t dip cat turds in chocolate and call them bonbons, least ways I don’t. What I’m trying to say is this, you don’t need or require all the makeup, punctures, graffiti, augmentations etc. YOU are uniquely you without all the chrome of a 58 Buick. When I see women all tatted up, it makes me feel sad they couldn’t see what they covered up. We men are first class stupid, hell I’ll admit it. We do dumb shit just cause we can’t seem to help ourselves. Most won’t cop to it, but we expect you ladies to have the sensible brains in our world. Think of all the time spent on makeup applications, beauty shopping, jewelry shopping, hairstylist, tat shops etc. All the money. At the end of day, under all your applied decorations you are still you. Your mothers passed on the gift of their mothers to you. When you look at yourself in the mirror over the hundred times a day, do you see your mother or maybe grandmother? Why on earth would you want to erase that? All these fashion industry moguls, sites and stores are preying on you because they know your weakness, vanity. That’s a trillion dollar word right there ladies and gentlemen. VANITY. That’s right. That is the root of problem. The vultures have you believing that whatever magic potion they’re peddling is gonna make you beautiful. BULLSHIT! Your mothers gave you that. Why would you want to eradicate this? Those scars you carry and wish to cover, are the roadmap of your lifes journey. You earned those scars bearing children, they are your trophies. Those scars are your child’s first artwork. Do you really want to loose that? Being YOU is a whole lot easier and cheaper (in more ways than one) than being folded, spindled, mutilated and tagged. That gray hair you’re covering up is hiding your hard earned wisdom from the younguns. Physical scars are your medals. You earned them. Be proud. I wish you to never have the blemish of a scar but truth is, if you’re scarless then your probably lifeless. You can’t buy real beauty with all the gold and jewels in the universe. That can only come from within you.
